When we talk about workers in the gig economy, we often think of a generation of subjects devoted to self-entrepreneurship, while what emerges, from a more careful analysis, is the “unraveling” of the relationship between the employer - who takes on the role of facilitator or intermediary of commercial transactions - and worker. We are facing with non-standard forms of work, called new frontiers of self-employment, in which safety obligations - risks related to the road, stress, disharmony, etc., not well known by the riders - are not taken into consideration. Moving from the Italian scenario, the leitmotif of the essay is precisely that of preventive risk, its elimination or reduction as a test for the protection of the worker. Protection that, beyond the dichotomy autonomy / subordination.

Abstract
Protection that, beyond the dichotomy autonomy / subordination.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
