Abstract
Recently, numerous fires have started in Finland around roof penetrations of metal chimneys. One reason for the fires is the smouldering combustion of the binder of rockwool used at the roof penetrations of metal chimneys. The charring of the binder produces heat which can increase the temperature in the penetration to over 100 °C. Tests which were performed on rockwool demonstrate the heat release.File in questo prodotto:
