We elaborate a theoretical approach to the dynamics of nuclear transparency in hard nuclear reactions, based on the hadronic eigenstate expansions of the nucleon state produced in the hard scattering. Transparency occurs at values of transfer momentum larger than q approximately 10 GeV. The role of the Fermi motion of the struck nucleon is found to be crucial.
