Glueball Candidates Seen In The Reactions P-Bar Ne-20 And P-Bar He-4 At 607-Mev/C

Two narrow peaks at about 1500 and 1800 MeV/c2 are seen in the distributions of invariant mass of the assumed six-pion systems in the final states of pBARNe and pBARHe reactions at 607 MeV/c. In pBARHe-reactions the peaks are seen only in the forward direction, while in pBARNe-reactions they are also seen in the backward direction with momenta near the momentum of the incident antiproton. The peaks could possibly be due to glueballs.
