The study aims at evaluating the impact of the questionnaire size on the accuracy and stability of the Rasch measure. The Rasch measurement model is used to obtain a reliable and objective measurement of a latent trait of interest. A simulation study is performed in order to deal with the issue.

Abstract

The study aims at evaluating the impact of the questionnaire size on the accuracy and stability of the Rasch measure. The Rasch measurement model is used to obtain a reliable and objective measurement of a latent trait of interest. A simulation study is performed in order to deal with the issue.
