Professional liability and privacy issues in the clinical laboratory

The Authors, after some general considerations about the problem of medical liability, examine some special aspects of medical liability in clinical pathology. Nowadays, in fact, the activity in laboratory medicine is very complex and it involves many professional people (Director, Services chief, Technician chief, Technicians). The different competences and the different kind of liability are discussed. The Authors consider the problem of privacy and professional secret too.
