Eur.J.Human Genetics In this work a new mechanism of CDK5R1 expression regulation mediated by miRNA has been demonstrated. Further the data obtained allow us to hypothesize that a new pathogenetic miRNA-mediated mechanism might influence the CDK5 phosphorylation activity on Tau leading to AD progression.
