Abstract

In this paper we present a simple Matlab application that can be used to teach effectively ratio control. In particular, the application is a dynamic graphical user interface (GUI) that enables users to run tailored simulations and visualize their results. The tool is effective in comparing the most common ratio control schemes, so that the user can understand the advantages and disadvantages of each of them and learn which is the most suitable one to be employed in a given applications.
