L'INTERVENTO CONSERVATIVO DELLA FACCIATA DEI SANTI FELICE ADAUTO E FLAVIA A SAN FELICE DEL BENACO

This paper presents the conservation and restoration works carried out in 2023 on the main façade of the parish church of Saints Felice, Adauto and Flavia in San Felice del Benaco (Brescia, Italy). The project was limited to the main front elevation and involved a detailed analysis of the building’s stratigraphy and conservation issues, leading to a selective and respectful intervention. Cleaning, consolidation, and reintegration techniques were chosen based on the principles of minimal intervention and material compatibility. The work aimed to preserve the architectural and historical integrity of the structure while restoring its visual legibility. The outcome represents a methodological contribution to the field of historic architectural conservation, especially in minor urban centers.
