In this study, vegetative-productive and analytical parameters of cv Sagrantino seedling have been evaluated with the aim of verifying the possible phenotypic influence of genetic recombination determined by auto pollination realized on vine. In particular the different allelic composition at locus MybA1, considered responsible of phenotypic expression of berry anthocyanins, has been studied. From data obtained it has been observed how the genetic recombination caused a big variability inside the population for all the parameters studied and how the different allelic representation of gene MybA1 is related to different phenotypic expression of berry colour.
