Large Language Models (LLMs) are being used to expand the concept of End-User Development (EUD), allowing end users to describe their needs related to the creation, modification, extension or testing of digital artifacts in natural language. This paper presents a survey on recent papers that explore the integration of EUD with LLMs. The final aim is to reflect on the opportunities offered by LLMs to EUD and on the challenges to address, to understand how to empower end users rather than diminish their role in tailoring systems.

Abstract
Large Language Models (LLMs) are being used to expand the concept of End-User Development (EUD), allowing end users to describe their needs related to the creation, modification, extension or testing of digital artifacts in natural language. This paper presents a survey on recent papers that explore the integration of EUD with LLMs. The final aim is to reflect on the opportunities offered by LLMs to EUD and on the challenges to address, to understand how to empower end users rather than diminish their role in tailoring systems.File in questo prodotto:
