This chapter focuses on the discrepancy between the existence of subjects in slavery and the resistance to the use of the corresponding term. In other terms there is a disconnection between representations and data of reality. Some “clues” are presented which testify the possibility of being aware and informed about the current existence of slavery and on the other hand the resistance to recognizing it. Within a philosophical and psychological frame of reference, some reflections and interpretations of the phenomenon are proposed. Unconscious functions and the concept of unconscious alliances are explanatory concepts. Finally, possible horizons of thought for the future are proposed.

Abstract
This chapter focuses on the discrepancy between the existence of subjects in slavery and the resistance to the use of the corresponding term. In other terms there is a disconnection between representations and data of reality. Some “clues” are presented which testify the possibility of being aware and informed about the current existence of slavery and on the other hand the resistance to recognizing it. Within a philosophical and psychological frame of reference, some reflections and interpretations of the phenomenon are proposed. Unconscious functions and the concept of unconscious alliances are explanatory concepts. Finally, possible horizons of thought for the future are proposed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
