Manufacturing companies frequently fail in understanding where to start in approaching a Circular Economy transition, as fundamental changes are needed in the design of products, production processes, business models and supply chains. To date, literature investigated Circular Economy readiness assessment for manufacturing organizations in a scattered way. Thus, this research proposes the C-Readiness tool, to assess the readiness of manufacturing companies for adopting the Circular Economy paradigm. It has been developed based on a review of previous existing tools. It supports manufacturing companies in assessing their Circular Economy potential, giving insights on where to start to address such systemic transition.

Abstract
Manufacturing companies frequently fail in understanding where to start in approaching a Circular Economy transition, as fundamental changes are needed in the design of products, production processes, business models and supply chains. To date, literature investigated Circular Economy readiness assessment for manufacturing organizations in a scattered way. Thus, this research proposes the C-Readiness tool, to assess the readiness of manufacturing companies for adopting the Circular Economy paradigm. It has been developed based on a review of previous existing tools. It supports manufacturing companies in assessing their Circular Economy potential, giving insights on where to start to address such systemic transition.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
