The chapter illustrates the drafting history of the right to food together with the progressive elaboration of its contents. The study collocates the development of the content of the right within the broader evolution of international policies of food and nutrition. It then lingers on the synergies of the right to food with the right to health through the component of adequate nutrition, and finally illustrates how the right to food should be operationalized in the face of current and future global challenges.
