We report the preliminary measurement by the FOCUS Collaboration (E831 and E687 at Fermilab) of masses and widths of L=1 charm mesons, including the first observation of the decay mode Ds*2 ? D+KS0 . We also report a light meson result from the E687 dataset, i.e., the observation of a narrow dip structure in diffractive photoproduction of the 3p+3p- final state.
