The proposed study is part of a research project started in 2013, which aims at testing hypotheses of enhancement of areas characterized by the presence of ruins and military structures built before and during the Great War, between the Stelvio Pass and Lake Garda. The hypothesis of enhancement of Fort Valledrane, for instance, does not intend to alter the consistency of the ruin, but emerges as an addition to the existing structure of a purely conservative intervention. The need to use the fort as a museum in itself, with total security, has guided the choice to assume a series of itineraries that can inform the internal conditions of the building and its relationship with the war context of the surrounding areas. In order to activate social cohesion, the project involves an area for popular festivals or other recreational events, where some microarchitectures can be functional both to the events and the Fort's museum. The area can accommodate various types of users: from schoolchildren to the elderly; to scholars; to couples with children and groups of young people. The planned activities can adapt to different uses and destinations, and they can be performed during each day, becoming attractive to a large number of people.

Abstract
The planned activities can adapt to different uses and destinations, and they can be performed during each day, becoming attractive to a large number of people.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
