Paesaggi di confine. Luoghi simbolici, visibili e tangibili. Boundary landscapes. Symbolic, perceptual and tangible places

In 2018 an international multidisciplinary research on the topic "Boundary Landscapes" started the University of Brescia. T The first event was the International Conference “Boundary Landscapes” supported by the funds for international activities of the university: it was developed at the University of Brescia on 19 and 20 June 2018, with partecipation of many researchers from many different countries. Scientific coordinators for Unibs were Ivana Passamani and Olivia Longo. A few mounths ago the conference was selected by the committee of the London Festival of Architecture and included in the program of 2019 focused on the “Boundaries” theme. The meeting in London, scheduled on 14/6/2019, will give the opportunity to share research activities, case studies and institutional initiatives on landscape, urban and architectural issues related to the concept of "boundary" as a border between physical, normative, functional and geographical conditions.
