Modern industry requires more and more types of sensors for system measurement and control, moreover, new sensors of increasing complexity are constantly being developed, more often than before presenting non-standard properties, such as a strongly non-linear behaviour or the simultaneous presence of multiple, interconnected, inputs and outputs. A problem getting more and more relevance for sensors like these is calibration. Classic linear calibration procedures, when applied to these sensors, result in poor accuracy and are in general not satisfying at all.

Abstract
Modern industry requires more and more types of sensors for system measurement and control, moreover, new sensors of increasing complexity are constantly being developed, more often than before presenting non-standard properties, such as a strongly non-linear behaviour or the simultaneous presence of multiple, interconnected, inputs and outputs. A problem getting more and more relevance for sensors like these is calibration. Classic linear calibration procedures, when applied to these sensors, result in poor accuracy and are in general not satisfying at all.File in questo prodotto:
