Minor communities located in deprived areas, characterized by a disadvantaged physical structure and by a lack of connection with the surrounding region, are frequently interested by socio-economic trends which inevitably bring to depopulation and demise of economic activities. Is it possible to define and start up sustainable policies devoted to contain these negative trends? Sometimes local communities have been able to revitalize their economy and to contrast depopulation rediscovering and adding value to traditional culture and economy, changing weaknesses into strengths. The aim of this work is to analyse one of these best practices, which has been able to use the rediscovery of traditional values as one of the main potentiality of land planning.

Abstract
Minor communities located in deprived areas, characterized by a disadvantaged physical structure and by a lack of connection with the surrounding region, are frequently interested by socio-economic trends which inevitably bring to depopulation and demise of economic activities. Is it possible to define and start up sustainable policies devoted to contain these negative trends? Sometimes local communities have been able to revitalize their economy and to contrast depopulation rediscovering and adding value to traditional culture and economy, changing weaknesses into strengths. The aim of this work is to analyse one of these best practices, which has been able to use the rediscovery of traditional values as one of the main potentiality of land planning.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
