A cap was found at a crime scene. The genetic analysis allowed to identify a 15 loci profile that did not match with a suspect, although showing a good correlation. The Y chromosome STR profile was different and so was the 4 X chromosome loci profile. Interesting although, the hypothesis of a parental relation between the suspect and the evidence was statistically inconclusive.
