Una verifica nella gestione della conservazione programmata dei castelli recetto della Valtenesi a dieci anni dalle prime azioni: valutazioni, esiti e nuovi indirizzi

The contribution proposes the planned conservation plan activated within the system of recetto castles located along the Brescia shore of Lake Garda. From the beginning this project contemplated a systemic approach, aimed to incorporate more historical assets with similar material appearance and typological features, such as the recetti in the area are. The route establishes the work of a substantial doctoral thesis project (financed with a scholarship provided by the administrations owner of the assets) and has been a programming tool both in terms of management and financial statement and, concurrently, in terms or restoration works and active conservation of the assets. The plan has been adopted by the municipalities of the Unione Valtenesi, a local territorial authority, but it has been applied at alternate stages, according to the will of the administrations owner of the recetti. The scheduling of the direct actions, has been observed mainly during the first years of the initiative, then suffered from the generalised problematic economic situation, who made it difficult to denote as prioritised preventive activities. Cost-saving economies resulted interesting, mainly because of the presence of certified companies equipped with operators on rope with which has been planned an associated and shared services management. In terms of significant advantages derived from such conservation plan, one could list beneficial environmental-landscape impact, reduced execution times and respect for the asset. Weaknesses can be attributed to the acceptance of the preventive approach from the stakeholders, whom, anyway, have observed new fields of interest within the touristic value of the area. The recetti of the Riviera dei Castelli contributed to the growth of the identity value and the promotion of the territory, installing even in the non-professionals a strong and diffused awareness of the correctness and farsightedness of conserving by planning.
